A new season of Saturday Meals Together

Enjoying food and fellowship at Saturday Meals Together last year

On Saturday evening, November 22, we opened our doors for our first Saturday Meals Together gathering this Fall! This is the second year that Stirling has partnered with Grand River Friendship Society to co-host these monthly community meals in our Fellowship Hall.

With the help of donated food from the Food Bank of Waterloo Region and the work of 52 volunteers, we welcomed 82 guests for a delicious meal of soup, salad, spaghetti and meatballs, and of course…dessert! It was a wonderful evening, complete with live music and many warm conversations over tea and coffee.
